• Is there the balance between the interests of victims and the rights of the accused in proceedings before the International Criminal Court?

    This article analyzes the correlation of rights and interests of victims of crimes and accused in the International Criminal Court. There is the underlining of the problem of insufficient legal protection of the rights of victims of crimes, who still do not have an official legal status. At present the status of victims is equated with the status of witnesses, which gives negative impact on the position of victims of crimes.
